Proven Sire: Doblon-TR
Available directly to UK breeders from only £200 per straw via frozen semen
A son of the first elite graded PRE horse Ermitaño III, Doblon has proven himself time and again as both a fantastic sire as well as an incredible example of the PRE in dressage. As a young horse, Doblon was selected and represented Spain at the WBFSH World Breeding Championships in Verden and, at the time, obtained the highest ever score awarded to a PRE. Doblon went on to have a fantastic career, competing successfully at Small Tour level, before becoming one of Yeguada Susaeta’s top sires.
As a sire, Doblon continues to stamp his offspring with his elasticity, expression and work ethic. He has sired numerous notable offspring for dressage including Sultan de Susaeta (SICAB 4-year-old PRE world champion, reserve for World Young Horse Championships) and even our own Risa de Susaeta, who in 2020 was the U.K. MCI Young Horse national champion with scores of 75.2% and 78.8% in the final at Keysoe and is now training towards Grand Prix. Doblon has great fertility along with a wonderful temperament. He is 166cm and he is graded with ANCCE. Semen is stored at Stallion AI Services, Shropshire.
